The War in Ukraine: Insights on Sanctions and Responsive Business Strategies
International Business Briefing
Webinar
Overview
This is part of a webinar series hosted by Faegre Drinker’s international team. The series will tackle timely issues of importance for companies with international business and growth objectives.
Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has triggered significant legal and operational challenges for businesses operating and trading in Ukraine, Belarus and Russia. We will discuss how embargoes and sanctions on Russia, Belarus and certain areas of Ukraine imposed by the EU, U.K. and U.S. have impacted business, for the short, medium and perhaps long term. Following a sanctions update, there will be two break-out sessions: one addressing new commercial and corporate issues triggered by sanctions imposed by the EU, U.K. and U.S., and the other addressing employment and relocation of individuals adversely affected by the invasion.
Join moderator Angie Castille and her Faegre Drinker colleagues Chris Monahan, Mollie Sitkowski, Amy Comer, James Ellis-Rees, Marc Leaf, Matthew Levy, Elaine Kumpula, Claire Nilson and Erika Collins along with Van Bael & Bellis attorneys Isabelle Van Damme and Antigoni Matthaiou for an informative session on the situation in Ukraine.
