The Invasion of Ukraine: Mitigating Risk and Resolving Disputes Involving Investments, Customers and Suppliers
International Business Briefing
Webinar
Overview
This is part of a webinar series hosted by Faegre Drinker’s international team. The series will tackle timely issues of importance for companies with international business and growth objectives.
The invasion of Ukraine — and ensuing sanctions against Russia, Belarus, and the Donetsk and Luhansk regions of the Ukraine — created upheaval and uncertainty for companies operating or selling products and services in these jurisdictions. But the invasion’s impact has not been limited by geography, and the crisis has prompted a ripple effect felt throughout the global economy. As businesses try to plan strategically for the short and medium term, they are faced with navigating risks in a geopolitical dynamic full of uncertainty.
Our panel discussion will focus on best practices to manage through a time of international conflict and change. We will cover approaches for anticipating arbitration and litigation, mitigating operational risk, and planning for the implications of possible reorganization of affected businesses and the redeployment of company assets.
