Senior manager Nisha Quasba spoke on a panel titled “The End of the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency Declaration,” hosted by the Rare Disease Legislative Advocates. The webinar focused on the end of the COVID-19 public health emergency declaration and it’s impacts on the rare disease community.
Quasba discussed the how the emergency declaration began and how several provisions aimed at improving health care access slowed with the end of the declaration, including important health data monitoring and virtual prescription of controlled substances.
