What the Minnesota Noncompete Ban Means for Employers and Businesses
Webinar
Overview
On May 11, 2023, the Minnesota Legislature agreed to a new law rendering void and unenforceable all covenants not to compete included in agreements between an employer and an employee or independent contractor entered into on or after July 1, 2023, with limited exceptions for agreements entered into in connection with the sale or dissolution of a business. What does this mean for business operating in or employing personnel in the state? Please join a team of Faegre Drinker employment and trade secret attorneys for a discussion of what the new noncompete ban means for businesses employing and operating in Minnesota.
