Construction and real estate litigation partners Patrick Miller and Michael Lapicola joined two discussions hosted by the Practicing Law Institute for the 2024 Building Better Construction Contracts summit.
Miller, who served as co-chair of the program, hosted the seminar “A Deeper Dive into Progressive Design-Build,” where he gave a recap into industry trends and government solicitation and contract documents for public projects, as well strategies for negotiating difficult contractual issues.
Lapicola joined a discussion, “Construction Contract Issues Related to the Inflation Reduction Act,” and provided insights into requirements for obtaining energy tax credits, as well as the latest guidance regarding prevailing wage, apprenticeships and other provisions necessary for construction-related tax credits.
