Intellectual property partner Robert Stoll participated in a Quartz IP webinar, “Managing Patent Prosecution Risk at the Practice Level.” During the webinar, Stoll covered topics such as defining risks, typical and optimal firm-wide safety nets, assessing operations and leveraging technology to enhance good operating structures. The panel also spoke on misconduct and select USPTO Ethical Rules, cautionary tales including both cases from OED on docketing and cases from OED on Micro entity status, and ethics rules.
