New SEC Climate Disclosure Rule: What’s In and What’s Out

Minneapolis, MN

Overview

With the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) finalizing its long-awaited climate-related disclosure rules, there is still a substantial amount of uncertainty for companies working to figure out how to comply, especially considering SEC’s voluntary stay of the rules during pending litigation. Despite the abundance of question marks, one thing is certain: companies cannot wait for the litigation to resolve before working to understand what the current version would require if the stay is lifted and the SEC’s rules survive the current challenge in court. This program will help entities understand how the final rules compare to the draft rules. We will provide a general overview followed by a robust panel discussion about key aspects of the final rules.
