The Great Innovation Bake-off: Data v. Technology

Chief Innovation Officer Shawn Swearingen attended the LVNx 2024 Conference Experience to present on a session titled, “The Great Innovation Bake-off: Data v. Technology.”

In the session, Swearingen discussed what new technology is available, what problem it can solve for, how it fits within our tech stack, and how it will perform within our firm. The session focused on data & innovation case studies & use cases that require collaboration with pricing, LPM, finance and business development/client relations teams, emphasizing how innovation intersects with the roles and responsibilities of these teams.  

The speakers also discussed the data needs that are typically faced by these teams and examine how to overcome the challenges related to integrating diverse data sources while sharing ways that data, technology, pricing, LPM and other teams can work together to collect, organize, and utilize the right data to create innovative solutions.
