Life Sciences AI Summit

Government and regulatory partner Peter Blenkinsop and product liability and mass torts counsel Jim Frederick attended ACI’s Life Sciences AI Summit to present separate sessions.

Blenkinsop spoke on a panel titled, “AI Governance and Regulatory Sandboxes: Promoting Innovation in the Life Sciences.” The panelists explored how regulatory sandboxes in the life sciences can promote innovation, help identify risks, and foster global collaborations.

Frederick’s session, titled “AI Litigation and Enforcement Risks Across the Life Sciences Product Lifecycle: From Pre-Commercialization to Post-Market,” focused on the potential litigation challenges arising throughout the lifecycle of AI-driven products in the life sciences sector. The speakers examined legal risks from R&D to post-market to share actionable insights into litigation strategies and tips to mitigate risks in real-time.
