One-Day Bankruptcy Symposium

Philadelphia partner Andrew Flame, along with Joe Argentina, presented a one-day Bankruptcy Symposium as part of the National Association of Credit Management (NACM) National Oilfield Services and Supply Group meeting on Friday, January 15, in Houston, Texas.

The Symposium, developed by Andrew, was a one-day interactive workshop designed to provide credit professionals of all levels of experience an overview of issues and strategies to maximize recovery and limit risk arising from financially challenged customers. Discussions and interactive activities included, among other topics, prebankruptcy planning, bankruptcy basics, the Bankruptcy Code’s automatic stay, asset sales, the Chapter 11 plan process and bankruptcy preference and other avoidance actions.
