Patent Practice at the USPTO: Tips and Recent Developments

Washington D.C. partners Bob Stoll, Peter Sistare and John Smith presented at a SHIGA International Patent Office Seminar on May 28. The presentation was titled, “Patent Practice at the USPTO: Tips and Recent Developments.”

The presentation focused on tips and recent developments in patent practice at the USPTO and much of the information provided was beneficial to attendees developing IP strategies in the United States. Many of the tips Bob provided were informed by his experience as Commissioner for Patents and those of John and Pete result from years of practice before the USPTO.
