Adam Cox Serves as Guest Principal at Fort Wayne's Irwin School

Adam Cox of Baker & Daniels served as a guest principal at Irwin School, the Fort Wayne Daily News reported in its story, "FWCS Welcomes Community Members as Guest Principals."

Cox was one of 54 community members to participate in the Fort Wayne Community Schools' Principal for a Day program. It was the first year that all buildings had a guest principal.

Guest principals visited the schools from the beginning of the school day to noon, experiencing a taste of what a principal goes through in a day. From welcoming students into a building to dealing with concerned parents to working with teachers to improve academic achievement, principals do it all, the Fort Wayne Daily News story reported.

The guest principals come from a variety of occupations, leadership positions and organizations in the Fort Wayne community.
