Corporate Governance is Personal

Partner Doug Raymond authored an article in Directors & Boards titled, “Corporate Governance is Personal.” The article explained how directors can approach complex board decisions in the same way as if they were faced with similar situations in their own business affairs, or those of a close family member.

Doug stressed that boards and directors can help themselves navigate tough decisions in complex and difficult situations by asking themselves if they’ve done everything they would have done if they were representing their own family
