Carrie DeLange Authors Piece Honoring Judge Harry D. Leinenweber
Chicago associate Carrie DeLange published a piece in The Federal Lawyer* celebrating the Hon. Harry D. Leinenweber, a senior judge for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. This month’s edition of The Federal Lawyer featured judicial profiles of a selected number of senior federal judges. Carrie was asked to author a piece about Judge Leinenweber by U.S. Magistrate Judge Iain Johnston, a chartering member of the Federal Bar Association. In honor of Judge Leinenweber’s eightieth birthday in June 2017, and thirty-first year on the bench, Carrie looked back on his legal career, from his early days as an attorney to his nomination to the federal bench by President Ronald Reagan. She also paid tribute to Judge Leinenweber’s personal and professional impact on those who had the opportunity to work with him throughout his career.
