Los Angeles partner Fred Reish and Florham Park counsel Joan Neri co-authored an article for PlanAdviser magazine titled “Investigations Intensify: The Agency Homes in on Fee Arrangements,” discussing the DOL’s increased focus on ERISA violations and especially prohibited transactions in its investigations of plan investment advisers. The article goes on to describe ways that advisers can avoid prohibited transactions.
