Patrick Jackson Quoted in Bloomberg Law on Retirement of Delaware Bankruptcy Judge Kevin Gross

Wilmington associate Patrick Jackson was quoted in a Bloomberg Law article, “Delaware’s Most Welcoming Bankruptcy Judge to Bid Farewell,” covering the retirement of Delaware Bankruptcy Judge Kevin Gross. According to the article, Judge Gross’s retirement, expected in early 2020, was announced by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware on April 8.

Judge Gross has overseen some of the nation’s most notable bankruptcy cases, including those involving the Los Angeles Dodgers and Nortel Networks. While known for his friendly courtroom manner, those who have worked with him agree that Judge Gross can quickly change gears. According to Patrick, who was involved in a multi-party mediation process facilitated by Gross, “He can turn on a dime.”
