Pro Bono Work: An Unheralded Tool for Professional Development
Minneapolis associate Elie Biel authored an article for the ABA’s Mass Torts Litigation Committee’s Practice Points titled, “Pro Bono Work: An Unheralded Tool for Professional Development,” that discusses how pro bono services can be used to help associates develop trial advocacy skills and shares his own in-court experience with regard to pro bono work.
“My pro bono work has given me the chance to develop practical trial skills and a ‘personal brand’ that will serve me well in private practice. But more than that, I am making a real difference in my community,” said Biel.
