Global Insurance Symposium Continues to Establish Des Moines as an Innovative Industry Hub

Des Moines partner Michael Abbott coauthored an article with Eden Pearson, senior director of state government relations at Nationwide, for Business Record titled “Guest opinion: Global Insurance Symposium continues to establish Des Moines as an innovative industry hub.” The article highlights the seventh annual Global Insurance Symposium that Greater Des Moines (DSM) hosted in June, which hosted 375 participants from 35 states and six countries.

The symposium focused on two key issues facing the insurance industry: global risk and diversity, equity and inclusion. These topics were explored by some of the preeminent leaders in the industry.
