Mike Daly and Glenn Merten Coauthor ABA Litigation Section Book Chapter on Class Action Fairness Act

Business litigation partner Mike Daly and insurance partner Glenn Merten coauthored chapter eight in the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Litigation Section’s second edition of “The Class Action Fairness Act Law and Strategy,” covering how to navigate CAFA’s exceptions. Business litigation associates John Cappel and Elizabeth Casey also contributed.

In the book, the authors examine CAFA’s provisions with an in-depth analysis of statutory language, descriptions of key judicial interpretations and strategic considerations for practitioners. They also focus on practical advice regarding the statute and its case law so that attorneys can make better-informed decisions for clients.
