Libby Baney Comments on Regulation Options for the Online Sales of Steroid Trenbolone in Men’s Health

In the article, “The Viral Steroid Trend Targeting Teens”, government and regulatory partner Libby Baney discussed how the online platforms to access the steroid trenbolone, or simply “tren,” among teens and young men, could potentially be regulated.

The publication noted that easy-to-access channels for tren and other steroids, including illegal online distributors, are difficult to eliminate. Baney, who serves as senior advisor for the Alliance for Safe Online Pharmacies, said one way to cut down on access to these substances is legislation to regulate what websites can promote and sell. However, Baney said, enforcement of such legislation would require substantial financial and technological resources to monitor online distributors.
