Commentary on the Use of Clean Rooms

Business litigation partner Lauren Linderman led a team of seasoned trade secret professionals from across the United States as part of the drafting team for the Sedona Conference's Working Group 12 on Trade Secrets in releasing a new commentary for public comment titled, "The Use of Clean Rooms to Minimize Risk and Protect Innovation." This commentary describes the use of Clean Rooms as a tool to mitigate the risk of trade secret misappropriation and includes a guide for practitioners on how to design a Clean Room, who should be involved in the process, and what the proper roles are for those involved.
