Product Liability and Mass Torts Attorneys Contribute to International Comparative Legal Guides’ ‘Drug and Medical Device Litigation 2025’ Guide

Product liability and mass torts associate Eric Friedman served as contributing editor of International Comparative Legal Guides’ sixth edition of “Drug & Medical Device Litigation,” which provides practical cross-border insights into drug and medical device litigation.

Friedman, along with counsel Jim Frederick and associate Emilee Schipske co-authored a chapter in the guide titled, “Expert Witness Practice in U.S. Drug and Medical Device Litigation,” that details the practical, procedural, and strategic aspects of expert discovery in medical product litigation.

Counsel Joe Winebrenner, associates Eldin Hasic and Kristina Coleman co-authored another chapter in the guide, “Expert Witness Practice in U.S. Drug and Medical Device Litigation,” which covers topics including regulatory framework, manufacturing, transactions advertising/promotion and sales, data privacy, clinical trials and compassionate use programs, product recalls, litigation, and dispute resolution.
