Overview
Sarah Armstrong advises high net worth individuals and closely held corporate entities to manage their wealth through estate planning, estate and trust administration, and implementation of succession planning. She assists clients by:
- Designing and implementing estate plans for individuals
- Working with owners of closely held businesses to develop succession plans
- Representing individual and corporate fiduciaries in the administration of complex estates and trusts
- Advising fiduciaries regarding their duties and mitigation of risk.
- Preparing federal and state estate tax returns and federal gift tax returns
- Facilitating charitable giving, including formation of charitable trusts and family foundations
- Negotiating and drafting antenuptial agreements to protect family wealth
- Resolving tax controversies related to federal and state transfer tax matters
