Overview
Brad Boswell helps clients advance their strategic goals and navigate complex political issues. Brad has vast experience handling government regulatory matters and serving as a political advisor and advocate, providing counsel to clients on matters of legislative advocacy, administrative law representation, election law issues and providing valuable political consulting.
Brad’s practice areas focus on:
- Guiding clients on campaign finance compliance at the federal, state and local levels.
- Providing strategic advice on navigating the pressures of an ever-changing political environment.
- Representing clients in legislative advocacy matters through drafting legislation and lobbying.
- Advising clients on matters of Indiana election law.
- Assisting clients to advance business goals when faced with regulatory and administrative law hurdles.
In addition to his legal practice, Brad is very involved in the Indianapolis community, engaging in civic endeavors, political campaigns and youth sports activities.
Past Experience
Brad most recently served as Indiana University’s executive director for state relations, where he represented the university to the Indiana General Assembly and advised university leaders on matters of strategic political importance. Prior to his recent role at Indiana University, Brad was an associate at Faegre Drinker and also spent several years in Indiana University’s Office of Government Relations. Additionally, Brad was a former summer associate with Faegre Drinker, served as a legal extern with the Indiana Supreme Court and served as a U.S. Air Force officer.
