Overview
With strong trial skills and prior experience as Minnesota Deputy Attorney General, Nate Brennaman represents clients in class action defense, commercial and white collar litigation. He has litigated and tried cases in federal, state and administrative venues and has won cases in the Minnesota Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. Nate also counsels clients on regulatory matters and during government and internal investigations.
Regulatory Experience as Deputy Attorney General
As Deputy Attorney General, Nate oversaw Minnesota’s regulatory cases in the consumer protection and charities areas and also litigated some of the state’s most high-profile regulatory and agency defense cases.
Nate’s extensive litigation, trial and prior regulatory experience help him assist clients facing class action litigation, business disputes or regulatory scrutiny.
Past Experience
Nate was previously a litigator at Faegre Baker Daniels from 2004-07 prior to joining the Attorney General’s Office for nearly nine years, five of which he served as Deputy Attorney General, with oversight over the Consumer, Charities and Human Services Divisions within the Office.
