Doowon R. Chung

Overview

Doowon Chung helps clients litigate and resolve IP-related issues, with a particular focus on patent litigation. He has experience with a broad range of intellectual property disputes, including patent litigation, post-grant proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeals Board, proceedings before the International Trade Commission, trademark litigation, pre-litigation claims and IP licensing disputes. He has litigated a diverse set of technologies, including medical devices, consumer goods, commercial lasers, athletic equipment, software and financial systems.

Prior Experience

Doowon rejoined Faegre Drinker after clerking for Judge Donovan W. Frank of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota. During law school, Doowon served as an extern for Judge John Tunheim at the U.S. District Court of Minnesota. He also volunteered at the Asylum Law Project in Miami, where he assisted with legal research for the St. Thomas University Human Rights Institute.
