- Represented the Special Litigation Committee of the Board of Directors of PPG Industries in evaluating and determining PPG’s response to shareholder demands concerning environmental issues in western Pennsylvania.
- Represented a transnational shipping operator in obtaining dismissal of a False Claims Act lawsuit relating to U.S. Department of State transportation services.
- Represented Pernod Ricard in its acquisition of a majority stake in Skrewball, a super-premium and fast-growing flavored whiskey.
- Represented the nation’s largest student tour company in a class action alleging breach of contract for cancelled trips during the COVID-19 pandemic in the District of Massachusetts and in AAA arbitration, resulting in dismissal of the federal suit and defeat of class arbitration before AAA.
- Represented a leading national bank in an investigation by the DOJ, state authorities and various banking regulators relating to anti-money laundering (AML) compliance.
- Represented a prominent Westchester County golf club, along with certain present and former members of the Board of Directors of the club’s holding corporation, in shareholder derivative and securities class action lawsuits in the Southern District of New York.
- On behalf of the Board of Directors of CBS Corporation, investigated sexual harassment allegations against the CEO and senior network news personnel, as well as allegations about the corporate culture.
- Represented a nonparty tech company in Federal Trade Commission v. Meta Platforms, Inc.
- Represented an individual defendant in federal antitrust suits involving allegations of price-fixing in the generic pharmaceuticals industry.
- Represented a software developer in a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) investigation related to a cyber attack.
- Represented an insurance company in an SEC investigation related to the accounting of insurance losses and reserves.
Prior Experience
Christian received a J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2016, where he was a recipient of Dean’s Scholar Prizes in the Government Lawyer and Poverty Law courses and a member of Harvard Defenders, a legal service organization providing representation to low-income criminal defendants. During law school, Christian served as an intern in the Securities and Commodities Fraud Task Force of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York as well as the Enforcement Division of the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C.
Before law school, Christian was an analyst at Citi in the Capital Markets Origination division, where he earned Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.

Christian has an extensive pro bono practice involving immigration, housing, post-conviction criminal and personal injury matters. He has been lead oral advocate before Kings and Bronx Counties’ housing courts over a dozen times, and taken depositions as part of the New York City Law Department’s Public Service Program.
- Won two sentence-reduction motions in federal court, including one reducing a previously imposed life sentence.
- Won several motions in housing court ordering landlords to repair dangerous and illegal conditions in rental units.
- Counseled clients, filed asylum application and appeared in immigration court on behalf of Honduran family separated at the border.
