Amber Crow supports clients in a variety of industries as they encounter each phase of litigation, from discovery to motions, trial preparation and more.
Prior Experience
As a summer associate for a Minneapolis-area firm, Amber assisted with a trademark infringement bench trial, assisted with publishing an International Entertainment Law textbook, and was published in the Minnesota State Bar Association’s magazine advising young athletes navigating new Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) laws and guidelines. She also provided pro bono services to a local housing clinic and secured domestic abuse protective orders. During an internship with the Office of the Iowa State Public Defender, Amber gained valuable experience working on a range of criminal matters.
Amber served as a student practitioner at the University of Iowa College of Law’s Immigration Advocacy Clinic, representing clients seeking visas, asylum, lawful permanent residence and citizenship status in the United States. She also served as a student practitioner at the University of Iowa College of Law’s Law and Policy in Action Clinic, where she advocated for mobile home park tenants at the Iowa Legislature. While in law school, Amber served as president and cabinet director for the University of Iowa Graduate and Professional Student Government, where she advocated for the interests of 10,000 students at the local, state and federal levels while working closely with university leadership and the Iowa Board of Regents. In 2023, Amber was selected by the Iowa State Bar Association as the most “Outstanding Student” at the University of Iowa for her attitude, ability and other qualities that indicate her success as a future leader of the Iowa Bar.
Personal Interests
Amber is a frequent traveler and has visited 19 countries in Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Amber is an enthusiastic fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes and Green Bay Packers. She enjoys cooking and spending time with her two cats, Pippa and Gemma, in her free time. Amber’s fun fact is that she once sang a duet with Dolly Parton.
