Patrick (Pat) Ebeling

Overview

Pat provides counsel on product regulatory compliance and is focused on defending companies in complex product liability and mass tort litigation.

Prior Experience

Pat initially joined Faegre Drinker as a summer associate, where he gained valuable experience working on the product liability and mass torts, corporate, and health care teams. Pat’s legal experience includes having served as a legal extern at the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Minnesota and a judicial extern for the Honorable Renee Worke at the Minnesota Court of Appeals.

Before becoming an attorney, Pat spent seventeen years as a practicing orthopedic surgeon. After two years of general orthopedic practice, he completed a foot and ankle fellowship at Twin Cities Orthopedics in 2006. Pat was recognized as a “Top Doctor” by Mpls. St. Paul Magazine in 2008. For nine years, Pat held an academic position in the orthopedic surgery residency program at the University of Minnesota, teaching and training resident surgeons. In addition, Pat was a peer reviewer for multiple orthopedic publications and an assistant editor of Foot & Ankle International for eight years.

Personal Interests

Pat and his partner, Beth, have three boys and a golden retriever. Pat enjoys live music, good books, and time with family and friends. Pat learned to play golf late in life and almost always has his clubs in his car.
