Amy R. Fiterman

Overview

Amy Fiterman helps clients defend their products facing class action, mass tort and multidistrict litigation and serves as leader of the firm's nationally ranked product liability and mass torts group. She has served as trial, national, regional or local counsel in such actions involving a wide variety products, with a focus on the drug and medical device industries. Amy has been lead discovery counsel in numerous nationwide mass tort and/or class action matters and has recognized experience and skill in counseling and litigating on behalf of clients in complex e-discovery issues.

Drug & Device Experience

In the medical area, Amy has defended manufacturers of pharmaceutical products and medical devices from product liability and consumer fraud actions nationwide in multidistrict litigation (MDL) and state court coordinated proceedings. Amy also has the unique perspective of undertaking a secondment with a major medical device company to internally manage its involvement in one of the largest MDLs in U.S. history.
