Overview

Ben Grossman defends clients in commercial disputes, product liability and mass torts. Ben relies on his significant courtroom, research, and writing experience to deliver creative and effective solutions for clients facing complex litigation.

Prior Experience

Before joining the firm, Ben worked at a regional litigation boutique where he regularly drafted pleadings, propounded and answered written discovery, conducted depositions, drafted pretrial and dispositive motions, arbitrated cases, and assisted with the firm’s appellate practice. Immediately following law school, Ben served as a law clerk to the Honorable Denis P. Cohen of the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, Philadelphia County.

During law school, Ben served as a judicial intern to the Honorable George A. O’Toole, Jr., of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and to the Honorable Kimberly S. Budd of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. Ben also interned at Harvard Law School's Criminal Justice Policy Program, where he researched and wrote on issues involving criminal fees and fines reform and racial disparities in the Massachusetts criminal justice system.

Ben worked as a student-attorney with Boston College Law School’s immigration clinic to provide pro bono legal services to indigent nonresidents in deportation proceedings. His work with the immigration clinic earned him the Clinical Legal Education Association’s Outstanding Clinical Student Award. Ben now maintains a pro bono practice where he helps nonresidents navigate the immigration application process.
