Overview
Michael Hirak counsels clients in matters related to construction and real estate litigation, focusing primarily on eminent domain proceedings. Michael helps both property owners and condemning authorities sort through complex eminent domain issues, working diligently to achieve fair outcomes and protect property rights.
Prior Experience
Before joining Faegre Drinker, Michael served as an associate at a law firm working in eminent domain and real estate litigation.
During law school, Michael served as a legal intern in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Minnesota. In that capacity, he assisted attorneys with developing trial strategy, conducted legal research, and drafted trial-related motions.
Personal Interests
Outside of work, Michael enjoys hiking and traveling with his fiancée and two dogs and is an avid Minnesota sports fan.
