Brita A. Horvath

Director of Diversity & Inclusion

Overview

Brita Horvath manages the firm's diversity programs. She develops initiatives and strategies to further the firm's ongoing commitment to diversity through its recruitment, retention, development and advancement efforts.

Brita works closely with the firm's resource groups and affinity networks to implement goals and objectives as well as deliver value to individual lawyers and across the firm. Brita facilitates the firm's relationships with numerous national organizations that address diversity in the legal profession. Additionally, Brita oversees the firm's development and implementation of its supplier diversity program.

Past Experience

Before Baker & Daniels' combination to become Faegre Baker Daniels in January 2012, Brita managed both diversity and pro bono programs for Baker & Daniels. Before joining Baker & Daniels in 2007, Brita was director of sections for the Indiana State Bar Association where she served as the association's liaison to 25 sections with a cumulative membership of 12,000 lawyers and judges. She worked closely with each section's executive council and leadership to develop and implement all section-related matters, meetings, publications and conferences, seminars, collaborative programming, and special events.
