Overview
Prior Experience
Rachel served as a clerk for Judge J. Philip Calabrese of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, where she assisted with hearings and civil and criminal trials.
During law school in Australia, Rachel worked in innovation at a Global 200 law firm, supporting tax, finance and other teams to enhance their client’s experience and improve results through design-thinking. Rachel also volunteered at a policy research center where she advocated for prison, housing and human rights issues. Back in the United States, she worked on immigration and civil rights matters at a nonprofit legal organization, and assisted litigators as a summer associate in a Detroit-area firm.
Personal Interests
Outside of the office, Rachel enjoys adventure sports — whether snowboarding, rock climbing, or scuba diving — and travelling to new places.
