Asia C. McNeill

Associate

Overview

Asia McNeill provides counsel on product regulatory compliance and is focused on defending companies in complex product liability and mass tort litigation. In addition to reviewing and drafting pleadings and court documents, Asia has contributed her legal research and writing experience to complex multidistrict litigations (MDLs). She understands the intricate nature of these cases and is skilled at developing effective strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.

Prior Experience

Before joining Faegre Drinker, Asia worked at several different firms in summer associate or legal intern roles — including with Faegre Drinker in the summer of 2023. In these roles, Asia assisted with research and trial preparation, worked on pro bono matters, and developed her client service and legal writing skills.

During her summer with the firm, Asia worked with several teams within the product liability and mass torts group, including pharma and medical device, toxic tort, and consumer products.

While attending Howard University School of Law, Asia participated in the Civil Rights Clinic as a student attorney litigating on behalf of indigent clients in civil rights and social justice cases. She conducted complex legal research and drafted briefs to U.S. Appellate Courts for a range of civil rights matters such as police brutality, unconstitutional prison conditions and procedural barriers that preclude indigent litigants from effective access to the courts. In this role, Asia critically examined the analytical and linguistic challenges of effective courtroom advocacy, the legal and strategic considerations of the appellate process, the ethical and professional obligations of client representation, and the social and political implications of civil rights advocacy.

Asia was a member of the Howard Law Journal as a staff editor in 2023 and served as the senior notes and comments editor in 2024. She was also a member of the Student Government Association.

Personal Interests

Outside of the office, Asia enjoys fitness, advocating for underrepresented communities interested in pursuing legal education, and spending time with family.
