Hans-Christian Mehrens assists clients with commercial and corporate matters, counseling businesses as they grow and govern their operations.
Commercial and Data Protection
In the commercial area, Hans assists clients in drafting and negotiating services, distribution and licensing agreements. He also counsels businesses on compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation, providing insight on areas such as international data transfers, vendor processing agreements and data breach responses.
Corporate
Hans counsels clients on corporate matters such as mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and third-party due diligence.
Past Experience
While studying law, Hans volunteered as a legal researcher at Public Concern at Work, a whistleblowing charity. He also worked as a paralegal and translator on litigation and corporate matters, including disclosure exercises and multijurisdictional bond issues.
Personal Interests
Hans enjoys watching and engaging in all kinds of sports. He plays handball for Islington HC, where he also volunteers as the vice president and legal officer. Apart from his passion for sports, Hans enjoys traveling and has visited over 25 countries.Related Legal Services
