Overview
Peggy provides strategic counsel, legal services and due diligence to help businesses complete commercial real estate transactions. She practices primarily in the areas of commercial property purchase/sale, commercial loan transactions, corporate/real estate due diligence and offsale/onsale liquor licensing.
Peggy has substantial experience in the following areas:
- Closing of commercial transactions involving sales, purchases, financing and leasing
- Assisting numerous corporate entities in reviewing, analyzing and summarizing corporate and real estate documents in connection with corporate reorganizations, purchases and sales. Peggy reviews surveys, title insurance commitments and title policies, resolving title defect issues in preparation for these transactions.
- Quiet title actions relating to abstract property and title registration matters and proceedings subsequent with the Examiner of Titles Office for torrens property in the state of Minnesota
- Reviewing local liquor licensing requirements, preparing and finalizing license application packages, serving as the contact person for the licensing authorities and attending public hearings with local municipalities
Representative clients include U.S. Bank National Association, M.A. Mortenson Company, Opus Development Company, L.L.C., Hines Interests Limited Partnership, Holiday Companies, Holiday Stationstores, LLC, Samsung SRA Asset Management SUPERVALU, Inc., Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, and Xcel Energy.
