Rana Salem offers clients bespoke guidance on compliance with a variety of federal, state and local corporate laws and regulations.
Prior Experience
Rana most recently served as a summer associate at Faegre Drinker where she assisted in authoring a variety of legal memos and researched complex issues involving contract disputes, property disputes and fraud claims.
During law school, Rana served as a legal extern in the Chancery Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County for the Hon. Alison Conlon. In that capacity, she assisted in drafting judicial orders and researched and analyzed motions for summary judgment to produce bench memorandum.
Rana also served in the Association of Corporate Counsel Internship program in the hedge fund solutions division of an investment banking company. In that role, Salem assisted in negotiating terms for, drafted and reviewed offering memorandum and other contracts, and researched Securities and Exchange Commission’s regulations and assisted in ensuring compliance.
Personal Interests
Rana loves cooking (especially ethnic food), working out, traveling, and listening to live music in her free time.
