Overview
Rachael Stack drafts and negotiates construction and design contracts, engineering agreements, and automation contracts of all types and sizes. Rachael provides strategic counsel to clients on construction projects and guides them through the contracting and construction process. Rachael also negotiates critical commercial agreements for clients, including leading technology contracts, drone agreements, utility and energy system arrangements, and logistics and transportation contracts.
Construction Transactions & Commercial Counsel
From single projects to managing entire construction portfolios, Rachael delivers essential legal counsel to clients in various industries. Rachael also advises clients on issues covering supply chain constraints, price volatility and contractual disputes. Some of Rachael’s key engagements include:
- Serving as counsel to a Fortune 100 company for its entire construction portfolio for critical projects throughout the country.
- Representing contractors in connection with a $100 million data storage center and a $250 million electric energy grid project.
- Leading negotiations on behalf of a Fortune 50 company in cutting-edge technology transactions involving retail to consumer drone delivery.
In-House Experience
Before joining the firm, Rachael honed her transactional skills in the business sector working as in-house counsel for one of the largest financial services companies in the world. While in-house, Rachael drafted and negotiated a wide variety of commercial agreements, including procurement purchases, payment services and systems transactions, and sponsorship and licensing arrangements.
Personal Interests
Outside of her practice, Rachael enjoys running, cycling, and yoga and frequently trains for marathons and triathlons. Prior to law school, she ran and led the NCAA Div. II Cross Country and Track and Field teams for the University of Minnesota Duluth.
