Taylor Brook Walker

Overview

Whether she’s helping employers enhance their compliance programs or working to bolster and execute litigation strategies, Taylor Walker brings practical support to her clients’ most pressing labor and employment needs.

As a litigator, Taylor works on matters from single-plaintiff cases to complex class actions including all aspects of the case from early strategy to resolution. At Faegre Drinker, she provides support on class actions alleging a variety of claims including hostile work environment, violations of anti-discrimination law, and wage and hour issues. Taylor also has experience defending employers against claims of discrimination and retaliation based on age, race, sex, disability and national origin and responding to investigations posed by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Colorado Civil Rights Division, as well as other state agencies across the country.

Through Taylor’s counseling practice, Taylor assists employers navigate labor and employment statutory regimes in order to make improvements and find real world solutions to adhere to federal, state and local laws. Taylor frequently focuses on helping employers tackle complicated paid sick and safe leave laws and paid family and medical leave laws nationwide, including by tracking developments to keep her clients up to date on the latest changes in this growing area of law. Taylor also often assists employers across a variety of industries create employee handbook supplements and review their policies for annual compliance.

Personal Interests

Taylor is a born and raised Colorado native. Taylor enjoys spending her free time with her husband and two rescue dogs, Shadow and Luna. The group can often be found in the mountains near Grand Lake, an outdoor brewery, or at home binge-watching their latest TV obsession.
