Overview
Alyssa manages all phases of litigation, ranging from legal research to motion and brief writing, making court appearances, taking and defending depositions, and preparing for trial. Alyssa drafts, edits and timely files all types of litigation pleadings, motions, and offensive and responsive discovery. She also prepares case evaluations and negotiates favorable settlements on behalf of clients. In addition, Alyssa regularly prepares both oral presentations and written memos for clients to apprise them of status, posture and future legal strategy for cases, and to seek clients’ feedback and field questions.
Prior Experience
Prior to joining the firm, Alyssa was a litigation associate at another large international law firm, in its commercial litigation practice group. Alyssa also clerked for the Honorable Robert M. Illman in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California from 2020 to 2021.
