Optimum Quality Grains, LLC, Obtains Complete Victory After Four-Week Jury Trial Involving Product Contamination

Optimum Quality Grains, LLC (Optimum), an affiliate of Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc., sued Westway Terminal Company, Inc., alleging the contamination of thousands of gallons of sunflower oil at a commercial storage terminal in Minnesota, prior to the shipment to and eventual rejection of the sunflower oil in Asia. Our firm represented Optimum throughout the case. After a four-week jury trial, the Iowa state court jury found in favor of Optimum, awarding Optimum  all of its claimed damages.
