Our firm helped lead a coalition of hospitals in west Michigan, facing the loss of hundreds of millions of dollars in Medicare payments, to successfully petition for an increase in Medicare payments that more accurately reflected the region's labor costs. This prevented a more than $280 million loss in Medicare reimbursement and allowed hospitals to expand care options for area patients.
