MITA LLC, a Colorado based orthopedic device spinout from the University of Colorado (CU), was acquired by Stryker Corporation, a leading medical technology company based in Michigan. Our firm represented MITA LLC in the acquisition.
Dr. Omer Mei-Dan, a sports surgeon and associate professor of orthopedics at the CU School of Medicine, and Dr. Robin Shandas, chair of bioengineering in the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences at the University of Colorado Denver, collaborated on a post-free hip distraction system, designed to mitigate complications associated with hip arthroscopy.
