Steel Mill Defends Citizen Suit, Enforcement Action and Damages Claims Related to Cyanide Discharge

One of the largest steel mills in the United States defended a Clean Water Act citizen suit filed in December of 2019 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. Natural resource damages claims and a related Indiana Department of Environmental Management/Environmental Protection Agency enforcement action related to cyanide discharge from a steel mill in August of 2019.
