The Finger Companies Completes Sale of 21-Property Portfolio for $1.5 Billion

The Finger Companies is a leading independent developer of luxury multifamily properties, with developments in Texas, California, Colorado, Georgia and Illinois. Faegre Drinker represented The Finger Companies in the sale of a portfolio of 21 properties for a price of approximately $1.5 billion. This complicated transaction with a sovereign fund included bond issues, affordable housing restrictions, as well as a fire casualty that occurred prior to closing. Despite the various complications, the transaction closed on a very tight deadline.
