Faegre Drinker provided legal counsel to private equity investment firm Goldner Hawn in the sale of its portfolio company Terra Firma to DKSH, a Swiss holding company specializing in market expansion services, for $360 million. The deal closed October 31, 2022.
Terra Firma is a leading distributor of specialty chemicals in North America and the transaction was an important step in DKSH’s strategy to build a global distribution platform for specialty chemicals and ingredients.
Goldner Hawn, headquartered in Minneapolis, has been a source of private capital to leading lower middle market companies for over 30 years. Goldner Hawn has made over 90 platform and add-on investments in companies with total transaction values approaching $4 billion.
