Peter also helps manage two leading industry associations focused on privacy and the responsible use of data – the International Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Privacy Consortium and the Consumer Goods Privacy+ Consortium (CGPC).

Peter has been extensively involved in shaping privacy and data protection laws over the last 20 years, authoring dozens of responses to public consultations on new legislative and regulatory privacy proposals at the US federal and state levels, as well as in Europe and around the globe.
