FaegreBD Represents H.B. Fuller in Acquisition of TONSAN Adhesive, Inc.

A team of Faegre Baker Daniels lawyers led by George Martin and Sally Qin handled the U.S. $225 million acquisition by H.B. Fuller Company of 95 percent of the Chinese company TONSAN Adhesive Inc., the largest independent engineering adhesives provider in China.

With this acquisition, H.B. Fuller adds strong customer relationships in high-value, fast-growing engineering adhesives markets, state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, and strong product and technology development capabilities. The transaction closed on Feb. 2, 2015, and was supported by a cross-office and cross-functional team that included John Grobowski, Kevin Jones, Yiqiang Li, Judy Feng, Marlene Li, Cloris Mao, Amy Tan, Leo Tian, Jenny Yan, James Zhang and Claire Zhao.
