FaegreBD Continues California Growth, Expands in Los Angeles

Faegre Baker Daniels is continuing to grow in California with the expansion to a larger Los Angeles office, located at 11766 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, Calif.   

FaegreBD first established its Los Angeles footprint in early 2016 with the addition of partners Tarifa Laddon and Bonita Moore, in response to client requests for an on-the-ground firm presence in southern California. Partners Cal Litsey and George Stohner also spent substantial time in the Los Angeles office, splitting their time between the firm’s Silicon Valley and Chicago offices, respectively.

In the last year, FaegreBD has added associates Howard Ruddell and Amanda Semaan, as well as senior paralegal Molly Regan-Selle, to the LA office. Stohner has also made Los Angeles his primary office, with multiple additional FaegreBD attorneys and consultants working from LA as client needs require.

“We have been very encouraged by the firm’s growth in Los Angeles, and by the great response to our expansion in California that allows us to further partner with clients,” said FaegreBD chair and managing partner Tom Froehle. “It’s very exciting to move into bigger space after just one year in the market.”

Collectively, FaegreBD has 24 California-licensed attorneys anchoring the firm’s presence on the West Coast, who draw on the strength of the firm’s more than 750 other attorneys and consultants to serve clients worldwide.

Areas of focus in California include business, employment, intellectual property and product liability litigation and consulting. The firm’s California offices also enhance FaegreBD’s food and agriculture and health and life sciences industry teams on the West Coast.
